Frequently asked questions

We explore what is troubling you. Through deep listening, insight and compassion we will strive to make sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings with the goal of helping you to feel more
empowered, satisfied, alive and connected.

I offer individual therapy for adults. Therapy can help if you’re coming off of a troubling life experience, if you’re feeling alone, stuck, confused or overwhelmed. Therapy can help you to understand recurring patterns or explore parts of your experience you don’t understand. Therapy can also help if you’re struggling with any of the following:

  • Anxiety
  • Body Image
  • Depression
  • Identity
  • Loss and Grief
  • Life Transitions
  • Relationship Issues
  • Self-Esteem
  • Stress

Weekly sessions are recommended but we can discuss your needs and set up a schedule that is right for you.

Everyone takes their own unique journey through therapy. Some clients may have sessions for months, others for years and for some, they may come in and out of therapy at different points in their life.

My fee is $150 per 50 minute session.

I accept payment by cash, cheque or e-transfer on the day of our appointment.

Sessions may be covered under your benefits/insurance plan. Please check your plan details to see if services provided by a Registered Psychologist are covered. I will bill you and provide invoices and receipts electronically which you can use to submit to your benefits/insurance provider for reimbursement.

I offer sessions by phone, video or in-person – which ever is most comfortable for you.

Taking the first step can feel difficult, scary or nerve-wracking but I invite you to reach out. A good fit between therapist and client is important and I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can get to know me and ask any questions before you book a session.
